Helo Mrs Strojny Its Cindy Salazar from 3rd per. One of my favorite websites i found to be my fav was "http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q=the+art+of+mexico+murals+of+east+la&d=75997285267911&mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&w=b517659,f2302743" it was very interesting, it had beautiful pictures or mexican american murals all over LA. Its significant to me and im sure to many others because its part of my and their culture. one of my favortie murals that i found was a ZootZuit mural in hollywood "http://www.networkaztlan.com/murals/california/Los%20Angeles/zoot_suit_mural.html" Another one i found pretty interesting was a mural in UCLA Artist Saul Solache, Ramses Noriega, Sergio Hernandez & Ed Carillo. a chicano mural. "http://www.networkaztlan.com/murals/california/Los%20Angeles/ucla_chicano_mural.html
well what i liked about this website is that i found alot of the murals near our school..and it was pretty cool looking at them http://www.grconnect.com/murals/html/pb251005.html and this other mural that they unfortunately got painted over http://www.grconnect.com/murals/html/pb251011.html
My favorite websites(Art of Nexico): http://www.theartofmexico.com/ http://www.mexconnect.com/es/culture-arts http://www.allposters.com/-st/Fine-Art-Posters_c1013_.htm
http://www.theartofmexico.com/ This web site is really cool. It has a lot of different kind of art that represent something in human life. It's also a traditional of Mexico.
http://www.kyrene.org/schools/brisas/sunda/arthistory/mexico.htm this website is a little bit different from the 1st one. This one talk more about the art influence and also how each art form.
Anyway, every country had different type of art. The art of Mexico is based on the environment of Mexico. it had it's own meaning and beauty.
I found a lot of very interesting websisites, but here are some of them:

I think that art is very important to the Mexican-American cultural tradution because by that pinters could show their opinions on one issue or simply talk about the history
http://www.lamurals.org/MuralFiles/ELA/RamonaGardens.html#anchor1194037 In the center a Native American priest holds the dead body of a youth killed in gang violence. At his left a kneeling woman weeps, while on his other side a car drives off toward the big city. This painting is done on a wall in East Los, Ramona Gardens, with acrylic paints. Personally I like this painting because it shows the struggles of everyday life in East Los Angeles. My own favorite type of art is the art that comes from artists such Claude Monet, Van Gough, and my works of art of course. I especially like my art because it's how i release my energy but in a positive manner.
I just want to say that I'm not from Mexico but I know that Mexicans like to represent their country in different ways as they do with most of the murals in East Los Angeles.
